Zeiss Xradia 520 metadata extraction

Hi,

I have been given a Zeiss XRadia TXRM file but as I do not have regular access to a XRadia machine and its data processing software. I have succeeded in extracting the image files using the XRM reader created by mrsutherland (https://github.com/mrsutherland/XRM_Reader) but have not been able to get any metadata from it.

So, can anyone here suggest a means by which I can extract the metadata? It is holidays here and the provider of the data is not available.

Regards,

Bruce

From a macro you can run the following

getImageInfo()
Returns a string containing the text that would be displayed by the Image>Show Info command. To retrieve the contents of a text window, use getInfo(“window.contents”). For an example, see the ListDicomTags macros. See also: getMetadata.

getMetadata(“Info”)
Returns the metadata (a string) from the “Info” property of the current image. With DICOM images, this is the information (tags) in the DICOM header. See also: setMetadata.

Zen Blue has a TX Reader. And the resulting CZI can be easily read via BioFormats or exported as OME-TIFF.
