Trouble using plugin on Microsoft Surface Pro

I have a plugin I’ve transferred from the computer in the lab I work in to my Surface Pro. When I try to open an image and run the Puncta Analyzer plugin on it, I get past an initial analysis window and am given the following error when I try to proceed from there: (When I run ImageJ through the Fiji download)

There was a problem with the class ij.ImagePlus which can be found here:

I’ve downloaded the suggested windows version from ImageJ as well as the FIJI app from http://imagej.net/Fiji/Downloads trying to resolve this error. I’ve been told to use the ij126 version with this plugin but when I download and implement that, I get an error that reads “Bad Version Number”. Something else I’ve also noticed is that on computers that have no problems running ImageJ show ij.jar as an executable jar file whereas mine shows as simply a jar file. I am not remotely computer savvy so very specific suggestions would be incredibly appreciated
