TrakEM2 XML file corrupted

We were working with a TrakEM2 file and it crashed while saving and now will not open. I will attach the error message below. The file is also a xml.gz not an xml file and I cannot open it. I tried to gunzip it in Terminal, but was given an unexpected end of file error and was unable to decompress it. Is there anyway to save this data? My undergrad has spent a month doing tracing:(

Fatal error: column=495 line=891

Hi @Skye_Long

Welcome to the Forum! Thanks for bringing this to the community’s attention. It would be great though if you can submit an issue on the TrakEM2 github site. Here is a great summary for best practices in bug reporting. This is always so helpful to the developers/maintainers of plugins - so thank you for taking the time to properly submit this information - will also help to get your issue fixed in good time.
