Hello,

Sorry for double posting. I got the trainable segmentation weka to work, for some reason it just takes a long time to load on my computer. Now I’m wondering if I can use the trainable segmentation weka or any other plugin/setting to (1) measure the number of particles classified as class 1 and (2) get an average size of the class 1 particles. The image was taken on a hemocytometer grid so I can provide a line that is equivalent to 0.05 mm for reference in measuring size.

Thanks!
Izzy

When double posting please provide a link.

Here is what I get without WEKA (cf. your first thread):
Summary-Table

(Size is in pixel^2)

How do I reference that size to the size of the grid so that I can quantify size? Can I highlight the grid and get a size in pixel^2? And sorry for mistakes- first time user and poster today.

You have to set a scale to your images.
(Consult the ImageJ user guide.)

Please be aware that, as I’ve written in your first thread, your image is badly resolved. The area measurements will therefore suffer from the spatial resolution …

How did you obtain this from the image?
