Tracking and Measuring fiber angle, length, location: where is the quick way, how to get results at the same time

Hi, I’m a new member in this forum.
Currently, I’m trying to measure fiber angle change in the fluid flow.
I went over the plugins of ImageJ to find which one can automatically track many single fibers (non overlaping) and export these information (fiber length, fiber angle, location) in every frame.
I found some plugins, but they only gave me result of fiber location, not including fiber angle and length. The rest ones I get them by tracking manually. It takes long time :frowning:
Could you please give me some advices about this problem and the way to solve it, thank you for helping me.
I also enclosed the sample video here: https://youtu.be/58ud66k39U8

Hi
@KN13
Your images are jpegs and they contain artifacts. Use png or tif.
However with this little code we get:

  • the positions
  • the length
  • the angle
run("Duplicate...", "title=1");
run("Duplicate...", "title=2");
run("Unsharp Mask...", "radius=3 mask=0.60");
run("Set Measurements...", "area center feret's add redirect=None decimal=2");
selectWindow("1");
setAutoThreshold("Default");
//run("Threshold...");
//setThreshold(0, 104);
run("Convert to Mask");
run("Analyze Particles...", "size=5-Infinity circularity=0.00-0.80 display exclude include add");
roiManager("Show All without labels");

But the results obtained are hardly exploitable because of du jpeg.
