Sum region of binary image by column

Hello,

I have a stack of images containing 2500 images. I have segmented and converted the images into black and white regions.

I would like to sum up the number of pixels in the white region of each image in the stack by column, so i can determine the average depth of the white region for each of the images

I have attached two of the images in the stack below.

I did a connected component analysis in y-direction to get the columns:

Then I compute the Y-Centroid for each segment and computed the mean over all centroids for each image and get this result-table:

I did this with KNIME Image Processing and you can download the workflow here (863.2 KB).
