Stack images while preserving values

Hi, I am using the Color Space Converter plugin for ImageJ. When I run the plugin on an image I get three different images. For instance, L*, a* and b*. I want to calculate the values of each image in a particular region. However, when I stack the images the values disappear (to RGB) and I can’t use the “multi-measure measure_all one append” function anymore.
How can I get a stack preserving the values of the original?

Thanks.

I’m not sure I completely understand the issue. How are you stacking the images?

If you use Image › Stacks › Tools › Concatenate… after switching to Lab stack, the values are preserved. The following macro illustrates what I mean:

run("Clown");
run("Duplicate...", " ");
run("Invert");
selectWindow("clown.jpg");
run("Lab Stack");
selectWindow("clown-1.jpg");
run("Lab Stack");
run("Concatenate...", "open image1=clown.jpg image2=clown-1.jpg");

Does that help?

Yes, great. Thanks!
