(Solved) ImageJ (v) and (g) next to title?

Quick question:

My imageJ is renaming this window with a (V) and a (G) next to it for some reason. Does anyone know why this happens?

Hi @vnechev

The “(V)” usually means it’s a virtual stack.

Not sure about the (G). How did you open your image?

Global Calibration

Once Global calibration is set, a ‘(G)’ is displayed in all image titles until ImageJ is closed.

@vnechev you can mark a reply as the solution to your question: Expand the menu with the three dots next to the reply button of a post and click the checkbox symbol. Then you don’t need to update the title manually and the solution is linked in the original post (useful for longer discussions).
