Hi, I am pretty new to DLC so this might sound obvious, but is there a place where the length of the skeleton line segments throughout the entire video are located?
Hi @kfelix, have a look at
deeplabcut.analyzeskeleton. This is to be used after video analysis, and will write segment orientation and length to a CSV file
Thanks @jeylau, I have figured out how to use that a little and was able to get a CSV file. Do you mind explaining or pointing me in the direction of where I can find more information about the info on the excel sheet? Is there specific units that come with these numbers?
The best you could look at is the code and the documentation of the functions at https://github.com/DeepLabCut/DeepLabCut/blob/a6346ab7b831a258d6c0aadbf81f3c0eefbef4e4/deeplabcut/post_processing/analyze_skeleton.py. But, in short, lengths are in pixels, and angles are in degrees and calculated between a segment line and the horizontal.
