Should I connect all bodyparts together (skeleton)?

Hi, first thanks for the great work on DeepLabCut and the continuous support.
I am having similar problems as: DLCma: most markers lost at tracklet stage
namely I have videos with several views of the same individual stitched together (as explained here: Trackings on multiple camera view at the same time), currently I connected the bodyparts of each view together but I didn’t connect anything across views. Basically I only connected body-parts together if it made sense anatomically (rigid link btw two joints). The raw tracking results (when analyzing a video) are quite good, but when I convert to tracklet and refine, I lost most of the points in the process.

my config.yaml look like that (but with 120 bodyparts in total):
individuals:

  • individual1
    uniquebodyparts:
    multianimalbodyparts:
  • abdomen tip 1
  • abdomen middle 1
  • abdomen tip 2
  • abdomen middle 2
  • abdomen tip 3
  • abdomen middle 3
    skeleton:
    • abdomen tip 1
    • abdomen middle 1
    • abdomen tip 2
    • abdomen middle 2
    • abdomen tip 3
    • abdomen middle 3

I watched your video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDsa8R5J0nQ, where you say we should over-connect the skeleton with maDLC

So my main question is: Would it make sense if I connect all 120 body-parts of the skeleton together? If not, how many additional connection per body-part would make sense?

Currently the wings are connected to the body only via the hinges (so only one connection per wing), should I also connect the various parts of the wings to other parts of the body?
