Sharp marching cubes edges


Is there a way to get sharp edges from marching cubes results?
My sample is a slice of bone so I’m trying to stay as close to the real world geometry as possible but as you can see the edges are “chamfered”.

@steersteer have you tried playing around with the level parameter?

I’m not familiar with the internals of the algorithm itself but I think it tries to find the coordinates of points at the level given. By using a level closer to the background, you might get the vertices moving closer to the corners. But I am just hypothesising. If you provide a demo image and a code snipped, we could play around with it more.
