Searching for datasets & algorithms of people working at computers

Hi all,

for a project I’m searching for data sets & algorithms of people, ideally videos of them taken by webcams of their computers. We want to study how people look when they work for a long time in front of computers. Do they become sleepy? Do their eyes blink more?

Any hint / link is very welcome!

Cheers,
Robert

Hi @haesleinhuepf ,
if you consider pro-gamer in your study, you would have an (almost) “unlimited” dataset via twitch and youtube.

Otherwise, in many countries, it might be forbidden by the law to record employees at work, to keep and share the videos… while security videos are deleted after a “short” while…

Best,

That’s actually a fantastic idea! :heart_eyes:Thanks @romainGuiet

Great ! Happy to help :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Nevertheless, note that you might end up with many biases for the study, related to Gender, Age , skin tones… I heard about some rare “senior-streamer” (source) and (source2) to balance your pool!

Cheers,

Romain

Hi @haesleinhuepf

maybe the dataset of Driver Drowsiness Detection will help too, e.g.
