Quantifying signal distribution

Hello ImageJ community,

I was wondering if someone knows of a Fiji-plugin that could somehow quantify signal distribution within in cells? We would like to get numbers from our images that correlate to the distribution. For example, dense clusters of signal should yield a high number, while if the signal is dispersed the resulting numbers should be smaller. Does anyone know of such a method?

Have you tried the plot profile tool? Its not really automated though, but allows you to manually choose the regions over which you would like to measure you intensities.

I think you are refering to spatial distribution, you should have a look to the spatial statistics plugin :
