Py-EM would like to join as a community partner

Dear team,

Py-EM is a Python module to interact with SerialEM to enable automated Transmission Electron Microscopy. It acts as an interface between this acquisition software and various advanced image analysis tools represented in the community. We released it under GPL license on our GitLab.

We recently published the software and expect a growing crowd of interested users from throughout the EM community.

As feedback from the users and a collection of scientific applications are crucial for further improving our software, we think is the perfect place for support and discussions on py-EM.

We agree with the guidelines for joining as an partner and we advertised as the only channel for seeking support and discussion.

Please let me know your thoughts and whether you think we would fit to the platform.

Best Regards,

Ah, many apologies @schorb for the lack of response. I didn’t notice this post until now!

@team To avoid missing these requests from people in the future, I have added the following text to the Community Partners request process:

Please include an @team mention and add the community-partner tag, to make sure someone on the core team sees your post in a timely manner.

Hi Curtis,

no problem. How would be the procedure now?
