Postdoctoral research: Single-molecule analysis of receptor interactions and signaling

A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Khuloud Jaqaman in the Department of Biophysics and the Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The project will focus on the quantitative analysis of receptor interactions and signaling using single-molecule and super-resolution imaging data. It will build on some of our recent publications, such as da Rocha-Azevedo et al. Cell Reports 2020 (PMID: 32997988) and de Oliveira & Jaqaman Biophys. J. 2019 (PMID: 31443908).

The Jaqaman lab consists of computational and experimental students and postdoctoral fellows, working together in a vibrant collaborative environment to address questions related to cell surface receptor signaling.

Candidates must have computational expertise, and must hold (or expect to soon receive) a Ph.D. in e.g. biophysics, bioengineering or quantitative/systems biology. Publications in peer-reviewed journals are expected.
