New user to BoneJ and would appreciate help getting started

I have never used BoneJ (or ImageJ) and would appreciate some basic instructions for how to use it. For my research, I am planning on using BoneJ to calculate moments of inertia and area from 2D images of human bone cross-sections (outer contour only). I have downloaded ImageJ and BoneJ, and I also installed Java, but am not sure where to go from here. I believe it’s installed correctly, but am not sure how to verify this. I am using Windows 8.1. If it is installed properly, I’m also not sure how to use this tool. Any help and guidance would be incredibly appreciated.

@watsone Welcome to the ImageJ forum!

Did you succeed in running BoneJ by now? If you still have troubles, I recommend installing BoneJ into a fresh Fiji installation, since Fiji already ships the 3D Viewer.
