Necrosis analysis in H&E tissue slide

I am trying to quantify necrotic regions on my tumor tissue slides stained H&E. Below is my slide captured image:

Is there any way to quantify only necrotic regions?

Quantification and pattern recognition of necrosis

Hello I’m new to ImageJ and image analysis in general, and have spent the last several weeks doing as much reading up on the topic as I can; however, I haven’t been able to sort out a way to create a pattern recognition macro for tissue necrosis (central area of pallor in the attached image). I would like to take multiple images, and get a rough estimate of area of necrosis as compared to the whole tissue and whole lesion without having to manually outline every lesion. Any help is appreciated…

Quantifying H&E parameters

Hi, Do you have written instructions or a video tutorial on how to use QuPath to create a classifier for H&E that can detect tumor vs necrosis and then subsequently quantify the area of each. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your quick response.

I tried to do both threads. I had a better experience with the first one, finding x and y length.
I wonder how I can convert the lengths into the area.
