Mask area above annotation

Hi,

Using groovy scripting in Qupath, I would like to create a binary mask for the area above a certain annotation within a focus rectangle, where the annotation splits the rectangle in two pieces. I managed to create a binary mask for the annotation within the rectangle, but I haven’t yet found any solution to mask the area above. Is this possible and if so, how?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @Jong,

I’m not sure I see what you mean, do you have a picture showing exactly what you want to create a binary mask for? When you say ‘above’, do you mean the parent annotation? And is your annotation a rectangle or a line?
