Scientist - Gene Editing - http://bit.ly/1JQFnQh
The goal of the Stem Cell Gene Editing Pipeline team is to produce gene edited human iPS cell lines, develop protocols for their differentiation and perturbation, and prepare hiPS cell-derived 3D organoids, establishing high quality standards and collaborating on the development of new assays of cell organization and function. This Scientist-level position, will gene-edit hiPSC lines to express fluorescent labels in cellular proteins, representing key cellular structures, pathways, and activities and also generate mutant lines useful for perturbing specific activities or reflecting disease states. S/he may be required to supervise the activities of others and will work collaboratively with the Institute’s technical and programmatic teams to achieve the Institute’s matrixed, programmatic objectives.

Scientist - Assay Developer - http://bit.ly/1ETt2Ef
The goal of the Image-based Assay Development team is to develop and implement a pipeline of image-based assays of cell
organization, activity, and function. This Scientist-level position will develop robust cell-based assays of key cellular activities that are amenable to scale-up and can be integrated into a high-throughput microscopy pipeline and may also contribute to the execution of that pipeline. S/he may be required to supervise the activities of others and will work collaboratively with the Institute’s technical and programmatic teams to achieve the Institute’s matrixed, programmatic objectives.

Scientist - Image Analyst - http://bit.ly/1wjKrkM
The goal of the Microscopy Pipeline team is to develop and implement a pipeline of image-based assays of cell organization, activity, and function. This Scientist-level position will develop and implement the image analysis component of this program, identifying, developing and testing algorithms and software for image analysis of cell-based assays and designing interfaces between microscopes and image analysis software. S/he may be required to supervise the activities of others and will work collaboratively with the Institute’s technical and programmatic teams to achieve the Institute’s matrixed, programmatic objectives.

Scientist - Optical Engineer - https://alleninstitute.csod.com/ats/careersite/jobdetails.aspx?site=17&c=alleninstitute&id=116
The goal of the Microscopy Pipelines teams is to develop and implement a pipeline of image-based assays of cell organization, activity, and function. This Scientist-level position will build or configure, and maintain a wide range of fluorescence and light microscopy modalities and use them to develop image-based assays and for a systems microscopy pipeline. She/he may be required to supervise the activities of others and will work collaboratively with the other technical and programmatic teams to achieve the Institute’s matrixed, programmatic objectives.

Additional Director and Management positions also open.
