Is it possible to Save "Set Scale" settings?

When I open an image or a stack, I use Set Scale to calibrate all my measurements (length, area) in microns. Every time a colleague or I re-open that image/stack, we have to redo the Set Scale. Is there a way to save the Set Scale calibrations for an image/stack such that every time I or a colleague opens the image/stack the calibrations are already there?

You can save the image stack as TIFF after setting the scale information to store the information in the file.
