Is it possible to add a column to the measurements table with a custom string value?

I’d like to add a column to the exported measurement table with a string that I’ve stripped out of the file name. Is this possible? I tried using the .addMeasurement(), but it wants a double as an input.

def cells = getDetectionObjects()
cells.each{
    it.getMeasurementList().addMeasurement("Channel", biomarker)
}

As far as I know, measurements are doubles, there is no getting around that.

When I want to include strings in my objects, I have been able to use the Name field instead, but that is the only way I have found. Well, other than the class, but I figure that is expected and often used for other things.

Thanks. How do I set the Name?

biomarker = "Hi!"
def cells = getDetectionObjects()
cells.each{
    it.setName(biomarker)
}

All of the cells will now be named Hi!
