Hi Guys nice to meet you . I use image J (or Fiji). I am trying to run a plugin (Calib_sPAINT.jar ) that i found online ( However when i try to run it with a tif image i get this message:

(Fiji Is Just) ImageJ 2.0.0-rc-69/1.52p; Java 1.8.0_172 [64-bit]; Windows 10 10.0; 224MB of 15000MB (1%)

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0
at ij.IJ.runUserPlugIn(
at ij.IJ.runPlugIn(
at ij.Executer.runCommand(

I am not familiar with java, can someone please tell me what to do to solve it?

thanks in advance!

Hey Manos,
sPAINT plugin has been written under Java 1.6 and ImageJ 1.x.

Happy to get any help to upgrade to java 1.8 and ImageJ 2.y

Hi Julien thanks for your response ! :slightly_smiling_face:
So I will download the older version to run it, can you confirm it?

A few questions:

Also I want to run it for 2 peaks intead of three. Can these plugins run with two peaks instead of three? For example the calibration plugin has three boxes for three peaks but I need only two because I use other laser. I don’t know how to run java at all, just asking.

Also, in what files I have to save the localizations? Txt or csv?
Last but not least do you do any contrast adjustment or processing before running the plugins?
