ImageJ measure selection

Dear colleagues,
I am adding and measuring lines in images. In order to restore them I save them as selection.

How can I remeasure them?

Opening the selection and pressing “strg+m” does not work. Is there a possibility to remeasure?
Or do I need to save the measurement?

Best regards,
Felix

I would add ROIs (lines are also ROIs in Fiji) to the ROI Manager: https://imagej.nih.gov/ij/docs/guide/146-30.html#sub:ROI-Manager

This allows you to easily modify and save the ROIs and also remeasure them if necessary.

Thank you very much for the reply and link.

I guess the ROI manager is the proper tool for having and measuring multiple lines in one image, or?

Yes for any kind of ROI and measurement the ROI Manager is your friend. You can combine as you want

There is also a Properties button. You can change the line thickness there directly and under more > Labels… you can change the font size of the label number.

I successfully changed the line width in the ROI manager.

Can I also change the label size of a line in the ROI manager?

Yes with more > Labels… you can change the font size of the label number.
