Image J markdown script not working

Hi Everyone,

I have not been able to get the Image J Macro Markdown update to work recently.
I enabled this feature by going to Updates>manage update sites and then selecting the site IJMMD.
It was working correctly until just a few days ago, and now (even though I have changed nothing) is not producing markdown files anymore. The log box appears as empty when I hit run on a script that is written with the IJ1 Macro Markdown Language.
A few others I know who have downloaded the update are also having this issue. I have uninstalled and re-installed the update with no success.
Sorry I can’t be more descriptive than that. It all looks correct (to me) but is not working.

Is there a bug in the software or another update I need to install?

Hi @CiaraMirMir,

did you activate ImageJ Macro Markdown in the Language menu of the Script Editor?

If this doesn’t help, I’d like to know which Version of Fiji and which operating System you are using.

Let me know!

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have selected IJ1 Macro Markdown as the language. I am using ImageJ 2.1.0/1.53c; Java 1.8.0_172 [64-bit]. I am using windows 10 64 bit operating system.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Hey @CiaraMirMir,

ok, I found a case where I see an error message:

Do you also see something like this?

Thanks for your support!

If so, and if this is also you

Then please update Fiji, it will download a bugfix-release of IJMMD.

And let me know if this solved this issue!

Thanks again for reporting this bug.

I updated Fiji and it is knitting to html now!
Yes that was me on git hub too. I didn’t know which best to contact you on.

Thanks very much for the help.
