Image Analysis of Reverse Osmosis Desalination Membrane In Real Time

Hello all. I am brand new to the ImageJ community and had a few questions. First I would like to give you some background. I am trying to create a cell in which membranes used for water desalination can be visualized, in real time, during reverse osmosis. The membranes help filter out salt specifically and begin to have salt build up after some time. Being able to visualize, measure, and render this process in real time allows my team and I to better understand the kinetics of salt scaling and will help to make these membranes more efficient.

I would like some guidance for plugins people have used for similar projects and maybe a reference to a decent CMOS camera compatible with ImageJ. I really appreciate any help you guys can give to me.
