Identifying the cell edge

I use the F-actin to determine the cell edge. I can identify the cell boundary with the automatic primary object identification, but how do I convert this into a secondary object that I use for comparison against a smaller primary object (i.e. nucleus).
thank you

Hi,

Secondary objects are produced using the IdentifySecondary module. This module takes as input, among other things, the primary objects previously identified (i.e., your nuclei) and the image which you want to use to identify the secondary objects (in this case, your F-actin image). Beyond that, there are several thresholding and detection methods to choose from so you can optimize the result.

Have a look at the example pipeline using HT29 cells on the Examples page to see this module in action.

Hope this helps!
