HuygensPro - Hot-Cold Pixel Remover - Python

Dear @SVI_Huygens,

I recently discovered that Huygens offers a “Hot/Cold Pixel Remover”, which could be a great help with a user’s case. I would like to know if this operation is also available from the python command as I couldn’t find it in the documentation.

Thank you for your help,

Dear Romain Guiet,

Hot pixel removal is currently not available as a single command since the detection parameters must be tweaked in the Hot and Cold Pixel Remover tool first. However, once you have created a hot/cold pixel map for a given microscope setup and image size you can apply it to an image by performing:

srcImg.median(destImg, mask = hotPixelMapImg, width = [3, 3, 0, 0, 0])

Kind regards,
