How to split CIE LAB image into all 3 channels in FIJI

Hi All

I am somewhat frustrated. I have done this in the past but for some reason I cannot seem to do it again. I need to take a normal RGB Tiff, convert it to CIE Lab and then split the channels to L, a and b so I can work specifically on the a channel. Please can someone assist.

Regards

David

  1. Convert to CIELAB: Image->Color->RGB to CIELAB

  2. Split channels: Image->Stacks->Stack to Images

Thank you! You are a gentleman and a scholar.

Sir, can you share the code regarding it.

For Color conversions see:

https://imagej.nih.gov/ij/docs/guide/146-28.html#toc-Subsection-28.1
(new is the Lab conversion)

Plugins:

A stack can be converted with the menu command:

Image->Stacks->Stack to Images
