I am working with mIF images with three immune marker staining. After classifying the cells I want to quantify the percentage area each immune population is occupying in the cores/tissue. The cells are detected as separate objects and you can get the area measurements separately for each cell but is it possible to get the area measurement for all the positive cells detected cumulatively in an area?
Hi @Arif00002 ,
You could try something along the lines of:
- Creating an annotation
- Get its area
- Adding up the areas of all the cells inside the area
- Calculate the percentage as total (area of cells / annotation area) * 100
Thanks a lot for your response. It means I have to add up the areas manually. Got it !
