How to Import Excel Graphs into FigureJ

Hi,
I’m trying to create figures using FigureJ and want to include graphs I have made in excel. How can those be imported and when they are, how can you know how large your font sizes in the graph will end up showing?

Hi,
In an early version of FigureJ, I had the hope to grab the graphs directly from Excel, but couldn’t get Excel to format the graphs properly using VBA. My best advice would be to assemble your final figure in Inkscape. Use FigureJ to do the images selection and layout. You’ll get an svg file that you can reopen in inkscape for annotation, and you can get your graphs from Excel if you save them as pdf and import those in inkscape to fine-tune fonts.
Jerome.

Thanks Jerome! Just a quick clarifying question, I should still leave an open window in figurej where I’d like my graph to go before I save the svg?
