How do I adjust ImageJ to move rectangular selections freely (or at least in either axis)?

While analysing western blots, ImageJ forces the user to use rectangular selections and move them either horizontally (if they are tall rectangles) or vertically (if they are in wide rectangles).

Is there a way to make these constraints less restricted? I especially want to be able to move wide rectangles horizontally, because otherwise I have to select more than my desired band in one lane (which tends to bring about noise -or other bands if there are close bands of isoforms recognized by the same antibody-).

Basically, is there a workaround to get past the “Are the lanes really horizontal?” prompt? The only options are Yes and Cancel. I want to be able to use a third option: “No, but let me continue with my selections”.
