Hiring experimental Biophysics Postdoctoral Research Scholar
Dr. Pressé and Dr. Shepherd’s labs seek a postdoctoral team member for work at Arizona State University, home to the largest contingent of Biophysics faculty in the USA. Flexible start date.
The successful candidate will work jointly with Dr. Shepherd and Dr. Pressé to develop quantitative approaches to understanding regulatory networks and physical constraints dictating dynamical behavior in living systems. For example, using fluorescence imaging and analysis to unravel environmental sensing at the single molecule level. The postdoc will collaborate closely with theorists and graduate students.

Minimum qualifications: doctorate in a subfield relevant to experimental molecular & cellular biology/biophysics (earned no earlier than five years before the start date).
Knowledge in the following areas helpful but not required: Programming, fluorescence microscopy, wet bench work, image analysis.
