Is there a way we can find loading time of Adjacent Tiles? The issue I am getting is that while I scroll over the image, the image gets blurred for some time. If someone can propose a solution for this, it will be really helpful. Thanks
there is no display/logging of the loading times out of the box. If you compile Orbit yourself you could add this in the RecognitionFrame / RenderThread classes.
Background: When the (full-resolution) tile data is not yet available, Orbit picks a lower resolution and scales it up until the full data is available - this is why it’s blurry first.
I guess what you really want is a faster loading… ?
What kind of images are you loading (which format) ?
Are you loading them from local disk or from an image server like OMERO?
I am loading .svs format and using local disk, but if I use omero as well, the results are same. I want faster loading
what you can do is to use a proper computer, e.g. >=16 GB RAM, >=4 Cores, a fast SSD.
