Fiji Error when trying to update

Hi there,

i just installed/downloaded Fiji on Ubuntu 20.04

Now i looked how to add plugins - and if i am right this can be done by using
->Help->Update.

But when i do this i get an error message:

[ERROR] Cannot connect to the Internet.
Do you have a network connection?
Are your proxy settings correct?
[ERROR] java.io.IOException: Unexpected response code: 200

I found people having this message some years ago - and it was marked as solved with new release. But guess as i just downloaded mine from fiji.sc (linux 64) it should be quite up-to-date.

I start Fiji simply by clicking on “ImageJ-linux64” File in the folder i extracted it.
I am not behind a proxy, using ip4 and accessing internet pages via browser works fine.

As i couldnt find a solution myself - it would be great if you could give me a hint.

Hey @kaktux,

there are technical difficulties on server side.

People are working hard to get everything up again. Thanks for reporting the issue and for your patience :wink:

Cheers,
Robert
