Faculty position in High-Dimensional Integration of Biological Systems, North Carolina State University
As part of the Chancellor’s Faculty Excellence Program (CFEP), NC State University seeks an outstanding faculty member to complete a new interdisciplinary faculty cluster in High-Dimensional Integration of Biological Systems. Successful candidates will be expected to perform quantitative/computational research at the interface of two or more existing NC State clusters, (https://facultyclusters.ncsu.edu). Although the position is open rank, applicants who may be appropriately considered at the rank of Associate or Full faculty are especially encouraged to apply.
The faculty cluster in High-Dimensional Integration of Biological Systems will provide synergy to existing clusters, and act as an intellectual home for integrative analyses across multiple sub-disciplines. The cluster seeks a faculty member with expertise in any area of quantitative or computational biology, including but not limited to high-throughput organizational or multi-scale biological modeling, computational toxicology, predictive epidemiology, or population dynamic modeling. Substantive applications are expected, and research on a variety of organisms, ranging from humans to plants, fit the mission of NC State as a land-grant university.
