Error received when running SaveImages - CellProfiler 3.1.8

Hello,
I`m trying to run a pipeline in which each cycle of analysis ends with the SaveImages module and the saved image needs to be used in the next cycle. I get this error:

‘Error while processing SaveImages:
(Worker) WindowsError: [Error 32] The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process: u’c:\users\noaf.wismain\desktop\local analysis\af21\Template_Green_28.tiff’’

Any advice on how I can make the pipline close the relevant image so it will be able to overwrite it?

Hi,

I’m assuming you’ve tried setting the number of workers down to 1, or are you getting this error in TestMode too?

It’s not reeeeaally the way CP is designed to be used, so I’m not sure there’s an easy way to fix this; I’d need to know more about your use case, but perhaps there’s another way to set up the pipeline?

Thank you for the responses. I indeed managed to overcome the problem by grouping the images.
