Error in training_dataset (multi animal DLC)

Hello,

I am working on tracking multiple animals using DLC v2.2b5.
I created a project, labeled images, and created training data set.

Then I executed “deeplabcut.train_network”, the shell showed me an error with following message.
“Floating point exception (core dumped)”

I have no ideas to solve this problem.
How can I achieve the training?

Thanks for the help!

Hi, I did not have that specific error, but when I was working on a multiple animal project, my errors were fixed when I switched from version 2.2b5 to version 2.2b6. Hope this helps.

Hello @frstdmn, welcome to the forum!
This looks like a CUDA installation issue to me; are you training on a CPU or GPU?
Have you taken a look at https://github.com/DeepLabCut/DeepLabCut/blob/ce5c8b84fe1ad6cc49bea8f65f36e96677a47b0d/docs/installation.md#the-most-common-new-user-hurdle-is-installing-and-using-your-gpu, this may help troubleshoot it.

Hi @jbkey18, thank you for your reply!
I upgraded the version, but it still did not work.

Though I realized the “skeleton” parameter was not set properly in config.yaml.
Fixing it, DLC worked!
Maybe this was the problem.

Hi @jeylau thank you for your reply!
I am using GPU for training.
I also suspected CUDA problem, however it properly worked when I tried single-animal DLC.

Though I realized the “skeleton” parameter was not set properly in config.yaml.
Fixing it, DLC worked!
Maybe this was the problem.
