Dump for pipelines

hi folks,

I have a suggestion. To help new users and old users alike, I think it maybe a good idea to have people who have developed pipelines for various purposes to upload them here. Maybe have a folder or someplace where folks can upload pipelines too. In this way, it will be increasing the number of sample pipelines CP already has in the homepage.

@Raphael A pipeline repository is a good idea and I’ll share it with the CP team. In the meantime, if you have an example you’d like to share, I would encourage posting it on the forum or hosting it Github.

@karhohs Okay. Nice. As for hosting on Github, I don’t know how to do that (never hosted anything there before), but will look into it. :eyes: I think it won’t be a big deal

I agree for most people the Forum is the best place to deposit a pipeline you want to make available. Be sure to include descriptive language about it so it’s easy for others to find when they are searching.

We do plan to make a public repository for pipelines (and also modules people have written themselves). It’s on our “someday” list!

An additional note: for published papers we are happy to post pipelines on this page; this can be helpful for journals that do not accept supplementary data: http://cellprofiler.org/published_pipelines.html

Here is one pipeline I made for this an image filled with colloidal crystals. Kindly find in this google drive link https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6nj1d7RmQ7TZnllMzFJUkFhc1U&usp=sharing Is there a place I could dump them directly into some sort of pipeline ‘savings bank account’ in Cell Profiler forum?
