Discard edge objects but in Identify Primary Objects

I’m having problems with discarding edge objects in Identify Primary Objects. I’ve always used it but have not noticed the problem before so I’m not sure whether it was always there, or whether I’ve only just noticed it. It discards objects touching the right, left and bottom edge, but not the top edge. I’ve tried resizing, croping (both in the pipeline and before entering the pipeline), and even tried rotating the pictures before i put them in the pipeline to check whether it was specificially that edge, or is it the ‘top’ edge. Rotating didn’t help… it was still the “top” edge which was affected. I’ll attach a sample image.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

This issue has been reported previoulsy. I’ll point you to my prior post on the problem; let us know if it doesn’t work for you.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the links to the previous threads. Read through them, changed from otsu per object to otsu global and that sorted the problem. Didn’t change anything else! Thanks!
