I am using an own plugin for object segmentation, and I find it useful to first apply that segmentation and then use “BinaryImage” as thresholding method in IdentifyPrimaryObjects. In that way I can still use the built-in clumped object separation on the grayscale image. Do you have a suggestion on how to get around this, or can you put back BinaryImage as a segmentation option in CP3.0?
I think you could work around this by first applying the binary mask with “MaskImage”, then using IPO with the threshold setting of “Manual” and the value set to something absurdly low (like 0.0000001). Let me know if that works for you!
Yes, of course! That should do it.
