Computing Image Differences in Movie Using a Reference Image/Frame

Dear all,

I need to make a mathematical operation involving one image and a movie. More precisely, I need to compute the difference between a series of frames captured as a movie and a single image (reference frame). I understand this is doable when one wants to process single images, is such a thing implemented for movies as well?

Many thanks for your help.

Kind regards,

Dear all, found out that Calculator Plus applies the operation to all frames so it does what I needed.

Glad that you found a solution.

Note that the standard Process > Image Calculator will always generate a result with the same dimensions as its first input, and will ask to perform the calculation on each slice if a stack and a 2D image are provided. So you should also be able to get what you want using the Image Calculator with the correct input order and the Subtract or Difference operators.
