Hello! I am just being re-introduced to cell profiler…haven’t used it in a while.
I need to find the % area taken up by a certain color of a cell. My work-mate has dyed wood cells with the color red and the color blue and I need to find what percent area of the cell absorbed the different color dyes. Can anyone help? I’m totally lost.
Thank you very much to whoever responds! It is much appreciated!

If the images themselves are color, you can use the ColorToGray module to split them into the individual channels. Then, if you can use one of the identification modules (e.g., IdentifyPrimaryObjects) to detect the colored regions, you can use MeasureImageAreaOccupied to measure the amount of coverage that a given identified region occupies.
