Change hotkey for next hyperstack slice

Hi,

For some image analysis i quickly need to go through many slices of a hyperstack and do a measurement on each slice. I can do this with hotkey ‘alt + >’, but it would speed things up if i can bind this to a single hotkey rather than two keys. Is there an easy way to do this?
I tried using record, but it only records next slice, not next hyperstack slice.

Thanks,

Tim

To my knowledge, you can’t change the behavior of the arrow keys, as it’s hard-coded here:

However, you can use one of the Stack macro functions and define a (yet unused) key as a new shortcut. Something along these lines should work:

macro "One frame back [f5]" {
    Stack.getPosition(channel, slice, frame);
    Stack.setFrame(frame - 1);
}
macro "One frame forward [f6]" {
    Stack.getPosition(channel, slice, frame);
    Stack.setFrame(frame + 1);
}
macro "One slice up [f7]" {
    Stack.getPosition(channel, slice, frame);
    Stack.setSlice(slice - 1);
}
macro "One slice down [f8]" {
    Stack.getPosition(channel, slice, frame);
    Stack.setSlice(slice + 1);
}

Try enabling the “Reverse CZT order of ‘>’ and ‘<’” option in the Edit>Options>Misc dialog.
