Change Direction of Distance Operation in Morph Module

Hi guys, I hope the science is treating you well.

Could I ask if it’s possible to change the direction of the distance operation in the morph module. It gives me a distance intensity on the inside of the cells, whereas I need the distance map to be on the outside. Briefly, I identify my objects, convert to an image, and then apply the distance operation in morph. I tried inverting my image using imagemath, but that distance morph ended up looking like a large gradient.

I guess I could always run the the ImageJ macro module, but I thought I’d ask.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Interesting, thanks for the suggestion! Actually, with the trunk build at least, you can do this. Check out my pipeline attached. (I believe there is a bug in the 2.1.1 release such that binary images aren’t handled well for segmentation, but I can’t recall exactly). The pipeline will only work with a new trunk build.

I attached an example screenshot. Hope that helps!
