The results table you receive after running ►Analyze ►Analyze Particles… holda values like “roundness” this describes how close the respective particle it to a perfect circle. “Circularity” goes in a similar direction. Since you refer to the confidence regarding the centroid do you need a circle with the particle centroid as its center and still being inside the particle (or completely enclosing the particle)?
