'ascii' codec

Hello,

I am just starting with the cpa example data. After trying the Imageviewer I get the error message reproduced at the end of this post. Similar problems in the FAQ point to Java 32/64 bits usage? Before, I had to define the JAVAHOME environement as in Postby mbray » Mon Jul 07, 2014 4:23 pm, which seemed to have worked.

An error occurred in the program:
UnicodeDecodeError: ‘ascii’ codec can’t decode byte 0x92 in position 372: ordinal not in range(128)

I think my other response here addresses this more-or-less duplicate post (sorry for the slow post-approval):
